Horsey

There is a competition in July at Beccles for artwork based on Norfolk folklore. I’ve decided to create the weeping horse of Trowse. The story says that a local lady was drowned in the river and afterwards a white horse could be seen looking for her weeping.

The Weeping Horse

I’ve made a start, now need to attach the neck to the head.

This little on sold over the weekend, she’s gone to a good home. I’ll miss her calming presence on my fireplace.
